  1. I gather that there were originally "Four Parishes" when now we have but one Parish.
    1. Killincooley - where there are sstill the remains of an old church a graveyard and a Holy Well.
    2. Newtown, - (about 1 1/2 from K'ridge and 2 1/2 from Killincooley) where there are the remains of an old Church - also a Holy Well and graveyard, (Well was St Brigid)
    3. Ratheenlusk where there is said to have been traces of an old Church discovered.
    He doesn't state what "the Fourth Parish was. I will try + find out.
