    before obtaining relief. A large flat stone which is supposed to be the Saints bed is near the well on which the sufferer is obliged to lie on. This well is famous for curing pains.
    Another famous well is the one at Little Cullenstown. It was blessed some years ago by the late Canon O'Sullivan - who blessed it for curing measles which was raging in the district. During the time of the big "flu" the parishioners used it and and it was noted that not one in the parish died of the "flu."
    An old fashioned cure for warts is two straws placed in the form of a cross through which a pin is placed. The warts are pricked nine times. The straw is then buried and as the straw rots the warts are supposed to rot.
