  1. St. Bridgets day falls on the first of February. The people of this locality leave a ribbon and a blessed candle in the window in honour of St. Bridget as she is the Patroness of Ireland.

St Patricks day falls on the 17th of March. There is a pattern in Grange graveyard, Kilmore, on that day. Everyone wears a piece of shamrock in honour of the saint as it was by shamrock that St Patrick taught the true faith, so that is why the shamrock is still worn by people.
The feast of the Assumption falls on the 15th of August. Many years ago it is said that the Blessed Virgin appeared some-where on
"Our Ladys Island." A procession and open Benediction is held on the Island since that day every 15th August.
The feast of St Anne falls on the 26th of July. There is a tradition that on that day St Anne appeared in Tomhaggard and where she appeared there is now a blessed well and a statue of St Anne erected over it.
