    light far out. They did not say anything about it when they went home.
    The next day, they searched again and when night came the light was there again. So they told the Priest about it. He told them that if the light was there the third night to go out to it. The next night they went out to it. But when they came to the light it suddenly disappeared and up to the top of the water came Connie Cooke.
    About ninety nine years ago, there was a very great wind. This wind caused Derragh Lake to flood. All the land around the lake was covered with water. Many cattle and other animals were lost in it.
