  1. In the townland of Bandra near Ballinamuck convenient to a river bank there is a number of huge rocks called by the old people Roisin's Rocks. Close by the ruin of an old house can be seen. Here a woman named Roisin Jordan lived, hence the name Roisin's Rocks. A stone where the old woman used to sit out side her door can be seen and a stone basin in which she washed her face, can be seen also. On one of those huge rocks the tracks of a giant's foot can be seen where he stepped from Cairn hill three miles south west of Roisin's Rocks on his way to Leitrim.
