    Until this excitment died away.
    Thrice seven years rolled by
With all its joys and tears
    And Ferguson he did prepair
    And started for Drumkeeran fair
There like a burly business man
To buy a horse he there began
But when the bargain it was made
Another man stepped in and said
I'll keep this horse so you may try
Another of his king to buy
    Ferguson did long content
    Without assistance or a friend
Until he got over awed and cowd
At the appearance of the crowd
At length a man asked for his name
Or from the place from whence he came
His answer was Im far from home
And to you all I am unknown
But then no rebel might I fear
If Tom Killheeny had been here
A lusty voice did then cry out
    Pray what is that about
Or if not mentioned for a bam
The word Killheeny here I am
A'h Tom avick the yeoman said
I think Im worthy of your aid
