  1. A Saint Brigid's cross is made on the 1st February. It is called a "Brídóg".
    The man of the house makes it with rushes, which are woven together.

    There is a well called "Toban Pádraic" in Reynaun and the water from it is supposed to cure warts. The clay from Saint Ciaran's grave in Clonmacnoise cures toothaches and headaches
