    Thursday for losses -Friday for crosses
    Saturday is no day at all.
    Ne'er cast a clout till May is out.
    A wet and windy May fills the haggard with corn and hay.
    Far better to go to bed supperless
    Than to rise in debt.
    You never miss the water till the well goes dry.
