   1933 was very heavy. On some parts of the road there were drifts more than ten feet deed. There was a number of sheep and lambs lost in drifts. The roads were packed with snow and so it was impossible for any one to travel.

   There was a big storm in 1903. It was on the twenty-sixth of February. There were two woods in Clonyn knocked and after the storm there were only two or three trees to be seen staning. All the roads were blocked and all the men had to clear them. The thatched houses and the galvanised
