  1. The games I play are cards, hurling, football, rounders, cat, tig, partners, four-corners, hop-scotch, draughts, rings, handball, pitch and toss blind man's buff and cat and dog.
    Tig is played like this all the boys stand round in a ring and one boy says a rhyme tapping each boy in turn as he says the words and whichever boy the last word falls upon he is the boy that has the tig. Tig means this the boy that catches any of the other boys it is he that has the tig.
