    fire and slept in the tent. They came for straw to the neighbouring houses.
    Not long ago a caravan was passing and a nice decent looking woman came in with a shawl on her and she told us that she never slept in a house in her life. She had a big basket and had it well with delph, combs, pictures, mirrors and laces. Sometimes a party comes with a lovely caravan and has horses for sale and they are said to have plenty of money. Sometimes a traveller would come alone with his fiddle and would play a tune and sometimes they are good musicans.
