    carried on on a small scale in the western counties. The spinning was done by a spinning wheel and the wool of a sheep.
    In former times lime burning was commonly seen in the country. In nearly all districts lime kilns are still in existence but are not in use. Forge work was always in existence and is still carried on in every town village and country place.
    I always heard it said that fishing was always done and some of the present people depend on it for a livelihood.
