  1. The name of my district is Ballyboy. It is in the parish of Athboy. There are five families init. The family most common is Brown's. The house are all slated. There is one old person in the district Mr. Russel. He can tell stories in English. There were eighteen old families lived in old houses in Ballyboy, the ruins of which are still to be seen. Eighteen families left Ballyboy in eighteen hundred and forty seven for the United States. There are five woods a river and two lakes. It is in the barony of Lune.
