  2. The name of my home district is Ballybrittas. It is in the parish of Kildalkey in the barony of Lune. There are eleven families in my home district. There are about forty people in it also. Most of the houses are thatched and some are slated. There are three people over seventy. There is no Irish or no story-tellers around
