About twenty years ago, my man, may God have mercy on his soul, used to work in Dunlops of Collon.

"About twenty years ago, my man, may God have mercy on his soul, used to work in Dunlops of Collon.
"One night he had to stay till nearly twelve o'clock fixing something or other.
"At five to twelve he got his pony our of the shed and was going to ride home when suddenly the pony shied.
"My man then looked in front of the pony and then he saw a strange white light coming up the Avenue.
"The light went round the back of the house and then it went back down the Avenue and disappeared.
"The horse got such a fright that it had to be left in the stable that night. My man had to walk home and didn't get home till one o'clock in the morning.
"This ghost has been often seen by other people.
