    This is a true story it happened about three miles from Kells on the Kells road.

    the year 1916-22.
    Two people lived in this house a man and his wife, They were rich farmers. There was farm yards and large sheds attached to the house, It was a very old place. The People of the house used to hear this Ghost every night, they got so used of it that in the end they did not mind or bother about it.
    Two boys called John and Patrick Donoghue were on the run afraid of the Black and Tans. They lived in Kildare. They used to stay one night in the house another night in that house, people would always give them shelter.
    One day as they were going through the fields they saw this premises in a lonely place in the fields. They asked the man for food the man brought them in and gave them a good meal, and he asked them if they would like they could stay the night as the house was very big. They did stay the night.
