Mary Black was a great dancer. She could step dance and do every kind of dance. She went to nearly every Ceilidhe that was on about the place.
She won a terrible lot of competitions in dancing also. She used to dance on the big flag at the opening to St. Patrick's well nearly every day.
One day she and Ann Gogarty were going up to the field to milk and when they were at the top of the field what do you think they saw but about a hundred little fairies and they all playing football.
