I heard my Mother, The Lord of mercy on her, She told me when I was about ten year old.

    (continued from previous page)
Parish of St. Mary's Drogheda one night when he was going home the Beamore Road, He could not find the Wind Mill at Cunninghams. The remains is still to be seen. So he lay on the Mote at Mr Mc. Quillan's.
"he heard a voice saying Monday, he said Tuesday, The voice said Wednesday, He said Thursday, The voice said Friday, He said Saturday, so the fairies gathered round him and brought him down into the Mote, he was away a good while. The people gave a reward if he was found.
"He got back at a considerable time. He had a strange look on his face. He had a widered face".
