  1. This really happened. I seen the woman it happened to. One day an old woman came into her and asked for the loan of a can of milk and a can of meal for her children as they were very hungry. But the woman refused and said she hadn't it.
    The old woman says then "What you have to-day you'll have less to-morrow and what you'll have to-morrow you'll have less the next-day and so on".
    Then the old woman went to another woman and says she to her, "Have you the lend of a can of meal and a can of milk till to-morrow as the children are hungry".
