There is a well on the land of Killineer Drogheda known as Tullir na sulos the well of the light. There is a local tradition that this well was originally in a place called Coolfore. Long ago there were a few Butchers living there and one of Butchers one day washed his meat in this well, and that night the people saw a great light spring up from the well and go towards Killaneer and the well at Coolfore disappeared and a knew well sprung up at Killineer
