- Long ago there lived a very cruel king and in order to be able to have big feasts he ordered all the cows in the country to be killed. There was one poor widow who lived alone in the heart of the country and she owned one cow. One morning the soldiers came and took the cow away. That evening she was sitting at the door watching the sun setting. Suddenly she saw the hill in front of her open and a pure white cow came towards her.
