  1. Saint Feckin is our Local patron Saint.
Long ago the Saint came to the district and he established a large monastery. In this monastery there were a great number of monks. Some of the stones of the monastery are in the "Pan field"
The district of Termonfeckin is called after the Saint. The "Gaedilgh of Termonfeckin is "Tearmann Féicín" meaning Boundary of Feckin. The lands around the monastery belonged to it.
