  1. It is a very old custom for the men and boys of the village to go round with the "Wren" on Saint Stephan's Day.
    The boys and men of the village dress up with false faces and old clothes and coloured clothes and they blacken their faces. They go round in bands and they sing songs. Some of them play french-fiddles. They collect money.
