    supposed to come down the chimney on November's night and the people even out the ashes in order to see his foot-prints.
    One night a man stayed up to catch the leipreachán and at twelve oclock he came he came. The man caught him by great effort they tumbled around the house till they tumbled out in the street. But in spite off all efforts he got free.
    A man in Miltown described him as a small sturdy man 2 or 3 ft high.
