    perform 'rounds' at this shrine but in later years the practice has completely dried out. Even those who knew the ritual of the 'turasana' have disappeared. At the base of the cliff just where the river topples down is the well, a beautifully carved circular hole about three feet in depth. The rock in which the well is formed is always covered by water to a depth of about 3 or 4 inches of course when the river s in flood it is impossible to approach or get near the well.
    At the northern side of the river is the well and on the other side - the southern side - are to be found the 'Saint's Bed' and the eye well.
    The bed is on the face of the cliff and is formed by two projecting ledges of rock about thirty inches apart; one above the other.
