    There are four corners to my bed,
    There are four Angels overhead,
    If I die before I wake
    I pray to God my soul to take
    Jesus the Branch and Mary the Flower
    Jesus and Mary be with me all hours
    Bless me Lord, defend and govern me and after this short and miserable pilgrimage bring me to Ever Lasting Life-Amen
    I lay my body down to sleep,
    I give my soul to God to keep
