A man and his son were coming from a wake and had to pass by Kilfeacle churchyard, close on midnight.
This churchyard is only separated from the road by the boundary wall, and some of the graves are close to the wall.
As they were about half way past, they heard clanking of heavy chains, and a great white form rose up from one of the graves near the wall.
