    The Local Fair for the selling of cattle in Tipperary town is carried on, on the second Tuesday of the month.

    whenever it was held it generally rained and sometimes even snowed.
    The pig fair is held every Thursday chiefly in the Main Street. Pigs are mostly bought by local buyers. The horse fair is held on the first Monday of each month chiefly in Davis Street and Market Street. Buyers attend in large numbers and come from England and foreign countries to buy horses.
