come daily to eat the dead beast. For a long time he escaped. Many shots were fired at him but they used take no effect.
After awhile an uncle of Martin Ryan TD discovered a plan. He put a bar standing beside the dead beast on which the eagle might rest while eating. When the eagle came again he perched on this bar and began to eat. This man came along with his gun and shot him from behind against the plumage and killed him thus relieving the people of what was a source of great anxiety to them.
