serve mass to say she would.
The next night the priest came out of the ground and "Who will serve mass"? The girl answered "I will". When they had finished mass the priest said to her "Thank you, now I can go to heaven and I will pray to God that you will too". No sooner had he finished his words than he disappeared.
The meaning of this story is that a priest was saying a mass for somebody and he died before he could finish it.
