  1. There was once a priest who used to put a handkerchief on his eyes when hearing confessions. One day the priest left his watch on(c) a little table near where he was hearing confession.
    A man happened to see the priest leaving the watch on the table and he stole it. Then the man went into confession and he said, "I stole a watch and I will give it to you now". "Do not give it to me, but give it to the owner", said the priest. "I offered it to the owner and he would not take it" answered the man. "Keep it yourself so", said the priest. When he took the handkerchief from his eyes he was surprised to see that it was his own watch was gone.
