    then strained and the juice was preserved and boiled again with a little sugar and used from time to time.
    The speedwell is boiled and the juice of this is a cure for sore eyes. Eyebright is exceedingly useful for sore eyes.
    Celery is used for Rheumatism and kidney complaints. Rasberry is used as a gargle for sore throats and it is also used as a wash for ulcers and wounds.
    Black-currant is used for hoarseness, sore throats and also for coughs.
