    She trade them go and plunder,
    That was the night of the great big push,
    When Molly loudly snoring,
    The man in the moon ran with his bush,
    Round the goats of Molly Mourne.
    One day they broke to Thomas Lynch,
    And on him laid bonaces,
    They scooped his turnips every one.
    Till they looked like smiling faces.
    That was the night of the great attack,
    When the mangold they were borne,
    And Paddy and Jack ran mad for a whack,
    At the goats of Molly Mourne.
    Had Major Haddick seen that run
    So rich for rural painting,
    he could have made a piece of fun
    To put the people fainting.
    The screen should draw a crowded house,
    And with laughter they'd be roaring,
    At the great retreat through oats and wheat,
    Of the goats of Molly Mourne.
    When they break out without a doubt,
    No human Being can trace them,
    And the neighbors round to save their ground,
