  1. (no title) (continued)

This story was told to me last night. It is about stealing milk.

    (continued from previous page)
When she went in the farmer went in after her. There he saw the old woman in bed, and her leg bleeding. He bandaged her leg.
She was stealing the milk from the farmer. She changed herself into a rabbit while she was taking the milk.

  2. Fairy Forts.
This story was told to me by my uncle. He told it in the following way.
One morning a farmer and his eldest son went to pick potatoes in a garden, about two miles from his home. They took their lunch with them, as it was too long to be coming back again.
When they arrived at the place, they began picking the potatoes. After a while they sat down under a big tree to rest themselves. Just as they were seated, three small women came up and took every potato that was in the garden. When the farmer and his son saw this, they were greatly frightened, and they ran home as quickly as they could.
When they went in home they told what happened, and then they found out that it was a fort or 'lios' as long time ago. This fort is up near Atyflynn, and since then fairies are seen there.
