    Depth of Lough Nagira.
About the depth of the Lough in the centre I heard an old man say that it was the same length as the base of Tory Hill is from Toberlochtheen Well.
This well is at the foot of Grange Hill on Ned Lanesland, and has a dome shaped erection above it. I believe this was erected by the Keating family who lived in Grange Hill House in the old day.
I have heard others say that its depth was the same as the height of Tory Hill. The shape of the Lough seems to tally with the outline of the base of the Hill.
