    Ducks. When the ducks quack loudly it is the sign of rain.
    Peacocks. When the peacocks cry and run for shelter tis the sign of rain too.
    Cricket. It is a sign of rain to hear the cricket singing.
    Wild geese. When the wildgeese fly in the shape of a "W" it is the sign of good weather but when they fly in the"V" it is the sign of bad weather.
    They say around here when there's a fog in Slieve Felim throw out no hay but when there's a fog in the valley we can expect a fine day.
