    The owner of Towerhill at this time was the second last landlord W. Lloyd. He was a terrible bigot and was not liked by his tenants. Many of them he had rack-rented, until several of them adopted the Plan of Campaign. The Lloyds had evicted six families in all, three in Towerhill and three in Cunnigavale.
