  1. On the 13th of October 1936,
    We were called to the Mulcaire the old banks for to fix.
    The Manager said he would give us a change,
    So he sent out our names from the Labour Exchange
    The free Beef is all over and the dole now as well,
    Let the Beef and the dole let them both go to h--
    For a day's work is better the truth I must tell
    So, good luck to the manager of the Labour Exchange
