    The most harmful weed growing in the garden is crowfoot, because it has a great root system and spreads rapidly, most especially in wet seasons, and weakens every crop where it is. However, it does not do much harm in fields, as cattle are very fond of eating it.
    Thistles grow only on warm soil, and they grow still more plentifully in warm seasons. Rushes grow on poor wet land and bogs.
