One night father was late coming home from Limerick and when he was coming along by Ballycahane or a bit at th'other side of it, what jumped up on the lace of the car on th'other side of him , but a big black cat. I tell you the poor man got a fright when he saw the baste of a cat on the off-side of the car. He struck the mare a clout of the reins and
