  1. A Collection of Prayers. 2/2/1938
A Night Prayer, said before retiring
There are four corners in my bed.
    There are four Angels overspread,
    Matthew, Michael, Luke and John,
Good bless this bed that I lay on.
In this bed I lay to sleep.
To God I give my soul to keep.
And if I die before I wake.
To God I give my soul to take.

A Prayer for Protection - said at night.
St Mark, St. Luke, St. James, St. John.
God bless the bed that I lay on.
If an evil spirit comes to me.
Jesus, banish him away from me.

A Prayer to the Blessed Sacrament.
Dear vault of Heaven serenely blue.
How many stars are shining through.
Thy azure depths beyond all count are they.
Praised be the Holy Sacrament as many times a day.
Fair world, the work of God's right hand.
How many are the grains of sand.
    In all thy frame
