- Games I Play.(Collected on this date 20-9-1938)In every part of Ireland there are different kinds of games. In our parish the young boys play a lot of different games even at school every day.I play different games during every season of the year. I play "Hide and go seek", "Tig", "Blind Buff" and "Rounders" during the summer. During the winter I make birds cradles to catch small birds. I play "Cat", "Frog jump", "Cards" and "Ludo".The way we play "Hide and go seek" is to let two boys turn in against a wall or tree and let two more boys go a hide.If the two boys that are a hide catch the two other boys when they are looking for them it is called one hide.Any number of boys can play "Tig".
