  1. I am living in the townland of Nantenan. There are six families living in this townland and about thirty two people now. Some of the houses are slated and more at thatched. The name most common in the townland is Madigan. There are but three old ruined houses in the townland. Some of the people that were living in it went to America and others died. The barony of this townland is "Lower Connolloe".
