  2. Food In Olden Times.
    The people lived on very plain food long ago, about three meals per day. They consisted of potatoes and milk. The breakfast was taken at 7 oc, the dinner at 12 oc and supper at 6 o'clock. In those times hay was cut with a scythe. So people were up at three and four o'clock and had a day's
