    On November Eve the spirits of the dead come back to the rafters of their own homes to hear if anyone in the house will say a prayer for the repose of their souls.
    Long ago each girl tried to peel an apple in one continuous piece without breaking the skin. Then she hung the peel on the back of the door. The first boy that crossed the threshold would be her future husband. They also threw the peel over their left shoulder. When it fell on the ground it formed into the initial of the girl's future husband.
