On St Brigids Night a Brat Brigde is put outside - it will cure pains if used after. It is rubbed to the affected parts. A piece of blue or brown ribbon with straw out of the crib makes the "Brat."

On Little Xmas Eve no dirty water is allowed remain in the house, and all water jugs are filled with fresh water.
