    it would bring pookas around the place.
    There are two shoemakers in the district, one in Farahy and one in Kildorrery. These have kept up the trade through several generations. There were a great number of shoemakers around long ago because ready-made boots and shoes were unheard of.
    Now a days there are no clogs in the place but long ago everyone was wearing them.
