    As I was walking through a field of corn
    I met a thing that was never born
    It was neither fish, flesh, feather, or bone
    And it had five fingers of its own
    Ans. A glove
    How many feet in forty sheep a shepherd and his dog
    Ans. Two, the shepherd's two feet.
    Long legs crooked thighs
    Small head and no eyes.
    Ans. A tongs.
    Where was Moses when the light went out.
    Ans. In the dark.
    What is half the moon like.
    Ans. The other half.
    Little Nancy Etticoat
    With a white petticoat
    And a red nose
    The longer she stands the shorter she grows
    Ans. A candle
