The traveller I know best is Billy Conway.

The traveller I know best is Billy Conway. He comes around to the neighbours and asks them for helf and whatever you would give him he would be satisfied. He never stays at any house but goes home to Mallow.
He sells no mirrors or anything like that. He travels on foot.
He fought in the war and he has a pension of twenty-five shillings a week. He drinks it all and begs for rest of the week.
He has a house in Mallow at four shillings a week. He always carries a stick with him for the dogs.
