   Protestant gentleman that died the previous day and that his friends put two pounds of tobacco on the lid of the coffin. They both listened to the story and said nothing. When he left they began to converse and one said to the other, "If you will come with me to-night I'll go to the tomb and get the tobacco and let you go and get a sheep." "Alright," said the other. It was approaching ten o'clock, out went the two; one for sheep and the other for the tobacco. The lad that went for the tobacco got it and sat on the tomb and filled his pipe while he waited for the other. In the meantime the Minister's boy came to see his master's flock. When he was passing the church gate he was surprised to see the man smoking. He returned home and told the minister that the man they buried yesterday was smoking contentedly.
